12/11/2025: Inventa wishes to thank PeruPetro for the very transparent and professional manner in which it carried out the tender process for Block VI in conformity with all applicable laws and regulations.  Inventa reaffirms its strong commitment to Peru’s energy development, to the communities of Talara, and to supporting initiatives that strengthen investment confidence and promote operational excellence and environmental and social responsibility in the country’s energy sector.

Inventa Energy would like to express its deepest regrets for the disruption and confusion caused to PeruPetro and the communities of Talara by the Consortium’s decision not to execute the Block VI Exploitation Contract.

As the minority, 25% technical partner in the Consortium, Inventa was fully prepared to execute the Block VI Exploitation contract and transfer Operatorship of Block VI on October 22nd and then again on November 10th.   However the majority, 75% financial partner and Operator in the Consortium, decided not to execute the contract based on their analysis of the commercial conditions, and to request an extension beyond the 15 days allowed in the regulations.

As a Peruvian owned and staffed company Inventa believes in the potential of the Peruvian Oil and Gas industry and has been working for five years to attract investment to the sector for the benefit of Peru and the Peruvian people.  We remain confident in the strength of the Oil and Gas sector in Peru and plan to continue our work in the Talara and other areas of Peru. We remain committed to transparency, professionalism, and open communication with PeruPetro and will continue to work to help PeruPetro in any manner that we can going forward.
